The I Love Clarkston Community Awards

The Clarkston community comes together on Friday 1 March 2019 at the Redhurst Hotel to celebrate the positive actions of local organisations, businesses and individuals at the inaugural I Love Clarkston Community Awards sponsored by East Renfrewshire Council. Everyone who makes a difference within the Clarkston community has an opportunity to be nominated for an award, with anyone able to make a nomination using the links below.

You are able to nominate yourself, and nominate in multiple categories.

I Love Clarkston Community Champion

The headline prize for the 2019 Awards will be given to an individual or organisation that has been nominated for their achievements and immense endeavours by the people within Clarkston and the wider East Renfrewshire area.

Everyone has the opportunity to nominate someone for any and all awards. Check out the following pages for details on how to nominate and how the winners will be shortlisted and chosen!

of the Year
This prize will be awarded to a person 16 years and under who demonstrates an energy, courage or drive to improve the community they live in and the lives of those around them.

Customer Service Star
Awarded to the individual or business who goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that their customers are taken care of. Nominations are open to individuals, high-street and home-based businesses.

Inspirational
Leader
This prize will be awarded to the top inspirational person in Clarkston who provides direction and leadership to others. This could be a, e.g. teacher, coach or group leader.

Independent Business of the Year
Awarded to the Clarkston business who exceeds expectations, helping the community showcasing exemplary customer service. Open to local businesses with 6 or less outlets nationwide.

Community Group
of the Year
Celebrating the group that shines brightest in and around the Clarkston are, this prize will be awarded to the organised group which does the most within the Clarkston Community.

Awarded to the Clarkston business who, although part of a national chain (7+ outlets), goes above and beyond supporting the local community whilst showcasing exemplary customer service.
